New Umrah Covid Policy

Saudi Arabia officials have changed the Policy regarding COVID 19 for Umrah pilgrims who wish to perform Umrah as the government has announced that those people who have taken Saudia approved vaccination can perform act of Umrah without undergoing quarantine. Saudi Government Approved Vaccines:

Saudia Press Agency delivered the announcement only those pilgrims are allowed who are arriving from non restricted countries for the act of Umrah. According to the Haj ministry those pilgrims who have been vaccinated with doses of 
• Pifzer 
• Astrazenica 
• Moderna 
• Johnson and Johnson

Pilgrims Having WHO approved Vaccination Dosage:

Those Umrah pilgrims who wish to arrive to Saudia Arabia but have undergone WHO approved covid 19 vaccination like 
• SinoVac
• SinoPharm
Will have to undergo 48 hour or three day mandatory quarantine period. Aftewards the Umrah pilgrims will have to provide negative PCR test proof to be enable to carryout Umrah pilgrimage.

GACA Announcement Regarding Precaution Measures:

The “General Authority of Civil Aviation” has provided guidelines regarding operating airlines to educate towards the application of preventive and precautionary measures regarding new COVID policy. The new policy is to be in effect from December 4, 2021.
